Forming An LLC
Are you ready to form your LLC?
Here’s a look into some of the documents, licenses, + filings you’re going to need/encounter along the way!
[Heads up, this list is based on LLC formation in CA]:
State Filings
• Articles of Incorporation
• Statement of Information
• Pick a Registered Agent
• DBA/FBN (if necessary)
Internal Documents
• Operating Agreement
• Contracts with partners, contractors, clients, etc.
Licenses/Permits
• Business License
• Home Occupational Permit (if necessary)
• Sales Permit (if necessary)
Tax Matters
• Tax ID Number
• Be on the lookout for the $800/year minimum payment to the Franchise Tax Board to keep your LLC legally active.
