Sales Protection

Monday morning roll call...

Yes, it’s Monday in case all your final days of 2020 are blurring together just like mine.

But if you’re taking some time to work on the back end of things, let me share something with you point-blank: get sales protection policies in place before 2021.

Sales Protection Policies will help you protect your hard-earned revenue. Here’s how:

Have you ever thought about what would happen if a customer asks for a refund? Or if they disputed a charge and their bank issued a chargeback? Or what if your ship time takes longer than average because you offer custom orders?

Good policies will protect your sales in any kind of situation you can imagine (or can’t imagine, which is where they become even more important!).

And these policies aren’t just fluffed on your sales pages. Did you know that in California, you MUST clearly post your refund policy if it is different from the default refund policy in California? If you don’t have it posted, you CANNOT enforce it.

If you don’t have proper sales policies (or after reading this think they could use a refresh) then you’re in luck. I have 15 free done-for-you sales policy templates for you:

Refund Policies
Return Policies
Exchange Policies
Cancellation Policies
Deposit Policies
Gift Card Policy
BONUS Chargeback Policy!
