Legal Compliance changes, what should you know?
Here’s your 1-month reminder! Make sure to share with your biz besties.
Have a subscription or automatic renewal-based offering? Make sure you’re up-to-date:
1) Get affirmative consent to automatic charges.
2) Clear + conspicuous notice of the automatic renewal terms must be available before checkout.
3) Renewal terms of 1 year or longer need notice of at least 15 days in advance of renewal.
4) Customer must be able to terminate the service without undue delay.
This list is not exclusive but it does give you a good idea of what you’ll need to implement.
(Oh, and this applies to you even if you’re outside of CA and sell to CA-based customers).
